WORLD’S SMART CITIES: DURBAN
World’s Smart Cities: Durban delves beneath the city’s surface to get to grips with the varied cultures, influences and individuals who are helping Durban to flourish in the 21st century.
The documentary follows two urban explorers to gain a dual perspective on the city: Andrew Evans, a veteran travel writer for National Geographic Traveler magazine and National Geographic’s Intelligent Travel blog, offers an international outlook on the city to understand it within a global context, while Phindi Gule, a presenter at a local radio station, uses her local knowledge to look at recent transformations.
